Firefly Aerospace has announced its “Noise of Summer” mission, a NASA Venture-Class Launch Services Demonstration flight with eight integrated payloads including MESAT1. The mission was revealed yesterday on X.
Firefly’s fifth Alpha mission is a “responsive space operation,” which will require the team to deliver and mate the payload fairing to the rocket within hours of the scheduled liftoff.
No launch date or liftoff time has been announced.
